Svenskt Tenn’s founder Estrid Ericson felt a strong bond to nature and was very fond of including it in all parts of the interior. In close contact with nature, she created the best conditions for clearing the mind and gathering inspiration for upcoming projects. When arriving at the store on Monday mornings, after weekends spent at her summer house, ‘Tolvekarna’, outside of Stockholm, she often brought large bouquets of flowers and branches gathered from the garden.
Get inspired by Estrid Ericson and transform the conservatory to a relaxing oasis filled with warmth and blooming greens. Create a bed of flowers and plants, and place them at different levels for a lush interior. The warmth of the evening sun is best enjoyed in a relaxing position on a rattan daybed. The lounger was originally designed by Josef Frank during the mid-1900s, and was reintroduced to Svenskt Tenn’s assortment in the spring of 2018.
