Ingegerd Råman
Ingegerd Råman is one of Sweden's foremost glass designers and ceramists. Since the 1960s, she has created beautiful functional objects in simple and pared-down designs. Often working in clear glass or ceramics in black and white.
Ingegerd Råman studied ceramics and glass at institutions including Capellagården on Öland, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) in Stockholm, and Instituto Statale d'Arte per la Ceramica in Faenza, Italy. In 1967, she established her own workshop in Skåne, Sweden and has throughout her career worked with both glass and ceramics design.
Ingegerd Råman has been awarded the Excellent Swedish Design award (Utmärkt Svenskt Form) on a number of occasions. Her work is displayed at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, to name a few.

For Svenskt Tenn, Ingegerd Råman has designed the now-classic glassware series “Crystal Flora”, a delicate yet functional collection of champagne glasses, wine glasses, and highball glasses in two sizes. She has also designed a porcelain series featuring Estrid Ericson's classic Elefant (Elephant) pattern.
